My new word of the day is raconteur. A raconteur is a person who is great at telling anecdotes, making them funny, dramatic or whatever to capture their audience’s attention.
I’m sure you know someone like that. I’d give my eyeteeth to be one but am happy to be a listener. I’m a bit on the serious side and he lightens my day.
this time I used “rambunctious” as the search term. This one came back with an interesting variety. the book that showed today, Rambunctious Garden: Saving Nature in a Post-Wild World, looked interesting. (whispers: I am one of those … a book hoarder! I pick up books because the title or cover interests me. You don’t want to know how many cookbooks I own. And do I cook? and now I’m looking at gardening books. I’m into escapism reading. When I think about cooking, I escape into cookbooks, lol. )
