Okay, I just had to do it.  There are so many fabulous words that start with “cat” and it was just too perfect for a C day.

So I bet you are wondering about catopric?

From Google:

relating to a mirror, a reflector, or reflection.

Now Merriam-Webster defines it a little more narrowly

ca·top·tric | \ kə-ˈtäp-trik \
being or using a mirror to focus light

Wikipedia gave me another new word in explaining catoptric

Catoptrics (from Greek: κατοπτρικός katoptrikós, “specular”,[1] from Greek: κάτοπτρον katoptron “mirror”[2]) deals with the phenomena of reflected light and image-forming optical systems using mirrors. A catoptric system is also called a catopter (catoptre).

Challenges & linkups:

#AtoZChallenge 2019 Tenth Anniversary badgeDay 3 of the A to Z challenge.  If you want to sign up, you can until the 6th. The signup list is here.

If you want to see other participants, the master list is here.

They give you a survivor badge if you can tough it out for all the letters. I think I might have tried doing this last year but didn’t make it past the first week. I have a vague recollection of that but for some reason am thinking autumn instead of spring.  Oh well.  Maybe this year I will get that survivor badge.

If you do the A to Z challenge, let me know and I’ll visit you.  It is a bit heavy on author/writing blogs so you’d be in good company.

You can use the Amazon search bar to do any search at Amazon like I did with “authors cats twain”. In case you didn’t know it, Mark Twain loved cats.
