time for a comeback?

Back in the day, instead of saucers, your coffee cup rested on these little snack plates ready for a cookie or a brownie. Less dishes to wash — you didn’t have to clean both a plate and a saucer. Smart, right?

For those who like vintage:

Coffeware: lusterware/lustreware by Takito Company (1880-1948), circa 1920s-1944, marked “hand painted” “made in Japan” with T T in two diamond shapes.
