Haiku : stratus clouds

stratus clouds turn gray
drizzle spreads lightly on skin
wind changes, rain pours

haiku by M. Nakazato LaFreniere

At least I think they are stratus clouds. If I’m wrong, my bad, lol. I really don’t know clouds at all

From Amazon:

Both Sides Now sung by Joni Mitchell, 2000

Amazon Cloud Cam Security Camera, Works with Alexa. This one caught my eye. It sounded pretty cool. It’s usually $119.99 but today (July 17) it’s $59.99 for deal of the day. (18th: sale is over.  I ended up not getting it because I was waffling.  oh well.) The only catch is that there is a monthly subscription after your first month. The cheapest one is $6.99 a month which isn’t bad. So I’m thinking about it. Since I’m on California time, I still have a few hours to decide. Weird to think not so long ago only rich people had cameras watching outside their homes and now several of my friends do.

The perfect incentive for keeping your head in the clouds, The Cloud Collector’s Handbook is a whimsical guide to the wonders of the sky. Throughout, author and cloud expert Gavin Pretor-Pinney catalogs a variety of clouds and gives readers points for spotting them and recording their finds. This fun and useful book features gorgeous full-color photographs that showcase a new type of cloud on every spread, from fluffy cumulus to the super rare horseshoe vortex to the wispy noctilucent clouds
