birthday thoughts
the skin I inhabit
growing older but inside
I’m still 28
an old poem I wrote
the anxiety of youth
some things I don’t miss
AARP card
gets me discounts, marks my age
the senior yin/yang
life has grown peaceful
the age of discovery
so much still to learn
