Drawing on anthropology, folklore, literature, and psychology, Monaghan’s encyclopedia covers female deities from Africa, the eastern Mediterranean, Asia and Oceania, Europe, and the Americas, as well as every major religious tradition.

    1. Thank you–glad you liked the pic. It was one of my earliest posed pics in Second Life — I did it in 2015. I hunted forever for a greek place to do it and then ended up just putting up the temple on some land because I couldn’t find one I liked. I remember being so proud of myself when the picture worked the way I envisioned it. It’s really fun when some thing new works out.
      I thought so too about the book but then I’m a sucker for mythology.
